Virtual Race 2020
A virtual race is similar to a traditional running event, except that the participant completes it completely on his own. Participants can choose between running, walking, cycling or other physical challenges that can be completed indoors or outdoors. The race which took place between June and August 2020 presented a challenge which helped raise money for the charity.
Charity Action for the NHS
Aldi sold rainbow ice-cream in Great Britain for 10 weeks from June 2020 as a limited special edition. The discounter donated the profit of 50 pence per package sold to the health organisation “NHS” and the charity “Teenage Cancer Trust”. We provided the ice cream packs at a discounted price.
3rd Freiburg LEO Sponsored Run 2017
In 2017 69 runners started the run – among them a group from IIC. Thanks to the high number of participants, a donation of €3,566.14 was collected for Wendepunkt e. V., which is a charity committed to combating sexual abuse. We will continue to enjoy putting our legs to the test for good causes.
