IIC AG’s focus in 2021 is primarily on sustainable and ecological food packaging. This year, we not only want to put the issue of responsibility first in our packaging, but also continue to cultivate social commitment. As part of our Christmas campaign, we are very pleased to be able to support the great work of the Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e.V. Freiburg im Breisgau with a donation of € 2,500.
The support association has set itself the goal of doing everything possible to help children with cancer and their families. The focus is on supporting the families who have to fear for the life of their child and therefore creating a strong environment for the child, which increases the chances of recovery for each individual child.
The Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e.V. Freiburg was founded 40 years ago and is based at Mathildenstraße 3, in Freiburg im Breisgau, right next to the IIC headquarters. Currently, the support association is building a new parents’ house for the holistic care of the children and families.

With the support of IIC AG, the new construction of the parents’ house is being promoted:
- The parents’ house of the Förderverein für krebskranke Kinder e.V. in Freiburg offers the affected families a “temporary home” for the duration of the medical examinations and treatments. In addition, there has been a proven and comprehensive concept for support and postoperative care here for many years. A decisive factor here is the proximity to the children’s hospital, which is offered by the new building.
